This one day course is appropriate for practitioners who have taken an introductory course and would like to review and enhance their skills.

Course Content:

A review of the assessment and treatment of BPPV, UVL and BVL clients. Advances in the assessment and treatment of these pathologies as well as cervicogenic dizziness will be discussed.

The role of vestibular rehabilitation in concussion management has been growing rapidly and a section of the course has been devoted to this area of practice. More recently, the role of vision assessment and vision therapy has proven to be an effective intervention in Post Concussion Syndrome. Utilizing vision therapy in patients with vestibular dysfunctions has also proven to be an effective intervention for many individuals. A significant component of the course incorporates a review of these interventions accompanied by patient videos.

Pathophysiology of selected otologic and non otologic causes of dizziness not reviewed in detail during the introductory course are discussed. 

Videos of nystagmus and oculomotor findings

A variety of case studies and a review quiz will be presented
