Clinical mentorship and life-long learning is something Diane is passionate about. Helping clinicians expedite their clinical expertise, stay on top of the evidence and remain excited about their profession is why she remains dedicated to teaching and learning.
Diane has had the honour of collaborating with local, national and worldwide authorities to further her own education and integrates this knowledge into courses/models she teaches. Her combined clinical and education experience culminated in the co-development of The Integrated Systems Model for Disability & Pain (ISM), (Lee Diane & Lee Linda-Joy 2007 – 2013) the model she continues to teach and now solely evolve under the abbreviated title – the Integrated Systems Model – alongside her senior assistants and team from Diane Lee & Associates.
Learning how and when to use various assessment and treatment approaches for the whole person/body is a key component of the Integrated Systems Model. Join Diane, and her team of highly skilled assistants, and immerse yourself in a series of education opportunities that will improve your clinical efficacy for treating the whole person using the Integrated Systems Model.
This is both an online and in-class course. We will come together for 3 sessions of 5 days that will include a review of your online lecture learning with lots of practical/clinical time to focus on acquiring the skills and clinical reasoning to put this model into practice. You will be expected to learn the theoretical concepts of the ISM approach online by being given complimentary access to many hours of lectures, short practical video clips, and complete case reports.
Your clinical reasoning skills will be honed not only through the in-class practical sessions but also through on-going daily support provided through a special private discussion forum that is directed by both Diane and the teaching team on the Learn with Diane Lee website.
Regional experts who work with the ISM approach will also be invited to offer the latest information on their field of expertise. This is a ‘practice-changing’ course that will organize your current closet of knowledge and facilitate best decisions for treatment of a whole person using an integrated, evidence-informed, clinical reasoning whole body/person approach.
