About me

I received my Baccalaureate degree in Human Kinetics from UBC, followed by my Master of Science in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology from SFU. I have mentored and trained many Kinesiologists while completing her Master of Physical Therapy from UBC. My treatment approach is to incorporate education, injury-specific exercises and hands on therapy to maximize recovery. I am also certified from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute to perform acupuncture to decrease pain and promote healing. I have received my credential in dry needling/IMS to reset dysfunctional muscles and follow up using corrective exercises. I have ten years of experience in injury prevention and rehabilitation and I am committed to helping patients achieve their physical goals (ie. strengthening, return to work or sport, improving sports performance and general wellness). I have also completed post-graduate training in vestibular (vertigo and dizziness) rehabilitation and back injury assessment and treatment. When I have some down time I enjoy running, playing competitive women’s soccer and rock climbing.
