Abi is a Registered Physiotherapist in BC and a member of the Physiotherapy Association of BC and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Abi has worked as a Physiotherapist since 2008. She has gained skills in both the UK and Canada in a variety of areas including Intensive care, Neonatal Intensive Care, Orthopaedics (joint replacements), General Rehabilitation (Stroke) and Home Health. She has worked at large hospitals in London UK as well as the Royal Columbian, Surrey Memorial and Ridge Meadows Community Hospital. Most of Abi's experience has been working with acutely and critically ill medical patients; supporting their rehabilitation journey from the ventilator through to discharge and resumed function in the community.
Abi strives to provide treatments that are patient-goal centred and meaningful, with just the right amount of challenge, motivation and enjoyment.
Abi has an extensive sporting history having played netball for the county and having several England Trials. She also ran for the county and continues to be an avid runner qualifying for the Boston marathon twice. She's also a passionate dirt bike rider.
